How do I pay?
You can pay online with a credit card, ApplePay or your Paypal account. If you wish to pay an alternate way we also have Venmo, Zelle, CashApp for your convenience and yes we will gladly take cash, however, it must be received prior to delivery. If choosing to pay an alternate way from online you will need to email us so we can send you the appropriate information.
How long do I get to keep the sign and when are they put up?
They are a 24 hour rental roughly but this is not exact and pick up is not dependent on when the sign was delivered. We deliver anywhere between 6pm to 11pm FIRM THE EVENING BEFORE and return the following day. Pick ups begin at 7:30pm SHARP. We cannot guarantee times based on our other pick ups and deliveries. Client understands signs are delivered on our schedule. If you need a specific time outside of these times we will make every effort if it is agreeable, we do ask that you call us to confirm an alternate time can be arranged. Once again signs are picked up at 7:30pm so be sure all family photos are taken beforehand. If you need them longer you will need to pay for an extended day or call us to see if it is possible for a slightly later pick up based on our installers routes.
Graduation season, signs can be installed earlier and picked up earlier due to overwhelming demand, however we will notify you of this at time of ordering. This is peak season for us so installs can be as late as midnight. Please understand all pick ups have to come in and be sorted and then delivered to the next client. Client understands signs are delivered on our schedule. Please be kind we are delivering happy things to your loved ones.
Am I limited to just 25 characters?
Typical greetings like HAPPY 22ND BIRTHDAY CATHERINE! or HAPPY RETIREMENT GEORGE MICHAEL! these greetings may be slightly over the character limit of 25 but would still be at the single greeting price. We cannot make guarantees on any colors or signs until payment is made.
Do stars and balloons come with every greeting?
Yes, stars and balloons come with every greeting. You also get to choose up to four specialty signs. Please see our Options page.
My yard is small will a sign fit?
If yards are small we may have to abbreviate for example CONGRATULATIONS to CONGRATS or HAPPY BIRTHDAY to HAPPY B-DAY, Happy Age or HBD. We cannot control the size of the yard. We come fully prepared to install the greeting as requested but if your yard is too small we have to make adjustments in the field. We will not go into neighbors yards without their prior approval.
What if the weather is bad? Will my sign still be delivered?
We can not make deliveries during severe, hazardous weather conditions (i.e. lightning storm, high winds, heavy rain, hurricane warning, flooding). We will work with you to reschedule your delivery. Refunds will not be given if signs have to be picked up early because of severe weather. We will notify you ahead of time if this has to be done. We make every effort to keep them out as long as possible.
Can I make changes to my order?
In most cases yes but not if your order is within 24 hours of delivery. We service many clients and this is where failure will happen. Make your changes well in advance so we can give you what you desire.
I emailed and have not heard back?
Please text or call us at 713-789-7777. Sometimes technical issues can happen or human error, this is surely not our intent, do please try us again if you have not heard back within 24 hours. Please check your spam or junk folders occasionally we can get lost in there.
What area do you service?
We serve the following zip codes: 77406*, 77407*, 77441, 77423, 77450, 77491, 77492, 77493, 77494. We service most of Katy, Fulshear, Brookshire, Simonton and parts of Richmond. If we do not service your area will refer you to the nearest affiliate.
How far in advance should I order?
The earlier you book and pay the better. You will likely have full options to choose what you like. We can book quickly especially for events like graduation. Graduation, for example, would be one you would want to try and book months in advance. As for regular birthday or yard greetings, a week to two week notice is ample in most cases.
Water, water, water!!!
We ask that you water the night before for us for 45 minutes and again the day of your delivery for ONE HOUR at 8pm no earlier during hot dry months MAY, JUNE, JULY, AUGUST & SEPTEMBER. Not watering makes your sign messy and sometimes we cannot even get it in the ground at all. It also breaks our stakes and takes us three times as long to install making us very behind and it hurts our hands!!! If you do not have a sprinkler system you must water much longer. If your grass is dead there is a reason and we likely will not be able to install because the ground will be hard as concrete.
Do the yard test. After you have watered walk out and push a nail, skewer, screw driver or knife into the ground if it goes in easily with no struggle you are SUPER STAR and have done an excellent job!!! If you can’t get it to go in the ground all the way… guess what we won’t be able to either. Time to turn water back on and leave it until you can do the above test with success.
Watering in the morning does nothing for your yard in the evening, you still must water at night.
Failure to water properly will result in your sign not being delivered and no refunds or redeliveries will be made. Sorry but we did our part and we have been very clear on telling you to water.
What is your cancellations policy?
We will offer a full refund if cancelled 48 hours before scheduled delivery. No refund if cancelled the day of your delivery the only option is to change your order to a future date. Canceling 24 hours or less prevents us from selling the greeting to another person.
